You can tell that... read more he was trained well; he would identify an animal well before anyone in our group could see it. Over the course of 4 days I felt so at home that the staff genuinely felt like family to me. One of the staff even offered to tour me around Quito for free (it was his hometown) because he was leaving the reserve with us. The food included in our tour was always freshly cooked and super delicious. The best thing about our trip was our guide Neiser. He showed us the lives in the Amazon, found every animal, was funny and responsible. It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. I can highly recommend this lodge to everyone.

  We really enjoyed our experience at the canangueno lodge this summer. The guide knew everything about the forest and we learned a lot about animals.
The lodge is nice... read more but very simple. Don’t expect hot water or wifi, it’s the real adventure !
The food was also very good, we didn’t except it to be so good in this region.

Activities were great : Stroll in the forest, in a motorboat, in a canoe. We saw a lot of plants, trees and animals like anaconda, tarantulas, parrots, dangerous insects, birds, spiders, etc
I recommend this lodge.

The staff in Canangueno is so great. The owner Pablo is a relax guy very fun with a lot of interesting anecdotes and stories. Jhon, the cook, is very talented : the food is tasteful and always different. I also noticed a very special care to everyone's diet.
If you have Romulo or Pajalito as guide, you can feel very lucky. They both have a huge knowledge about fauna, flora and Amazonia in general. They also have very sharp eyes to detect all the species you want to see. Plus the are very funny and always have a good word to make you laugh.
