Where is Canangueno Lodge located?

Canangueno Lodge is located in the Siona Community – Seoqueya in the Cuyabeno Wildlife Production Reserve in the province of Sucumbíos in the northeast of the Amazon Region of Ecuador in the heart of the jungle where you can see more variety of flora and fauna of Cuyabeno.

How is the weather in the Cuyabeno reserve?

It is a tropical forest with rainfall between 3,000 and 4,000 mm cubic per year, and humidity between 85 and 95%. From December to March it has a marked dry season; the rainy season goes from April to July, and from August to November the rain is moderate. The annual temperature oscillates around 25 degrees Celsius.

What to take to Canangueno Lodge?

The dress is casual and comfortable, there is no need to wear anything but short or long pants and light long-sleeved shirts.

Do I need a vaccine to go to the Amazon Jungle?

There are no mandatory vaccination requirements to enter the Cuyabeno Reserve or to participate in visits to Canangueno Lodge, however, you can consult your family doctor for up- to-date information on yellow fever vaccines.

Routine: What is recommended is to have all the vaccines indicated by the World Health Organization for domestic and foreign travelers, especially with the Coronavirus vaccination card before entering Ecuador.

Are there ATMs in Cuyabeno?

n the Cuyabeno Bridge there are no banks or ATMs, since you are at the entrance of the Ecuadorian jungle, which is advisable to anticipate your withdrawal money in any city of the country or if you are in Lago Agrio you can find banks and ATMs.

We recommend bringing cash in small amounts and designations for passenger safety.

How does the booking process work?

Reservations will be made only with the confirmation of Canangueno Lodge, in writing to the customer, who will be sent a service voucher.
